Mr. Klingsberg’s practice concentrates on estate planning matters involving the estate, gift, and generation-skipping transfer taxes, the income taxation of trusts and estates, the rules regarding tax-exempt organizations and charitable contributions, and related tax issues. He is involved in estate planning for families and individuals, including the preparation of wills, inter vivos trusts, life insurance trusts, personal residence trusts, GRATS, family partnership agreements, charitable trusts, and the creation of charitable foundations. Mr. Klingsberg also advises clients with respect to the annual exclusion, credit shelter and taxable gift programs and the transfer of assets between spouses in order to minimize estate and gift tax liability. A significant part of Mr. Klingsberg’s practice involves planning for the transfer of wealth and business interests from one generation to another in a tax-efficient manner.
