On August 20, 2021, Jenna Rubin presented as a panelist at the 2021 Attorney Trust Officer Conference of the Real Property and Probate Law Section of the Florida Bar on “More Than Money: Mediating Trust and Estate Disputes.”

ACTEC is a national association of over 2,500 trust and estate lawyers and law professors who are peer-elected to membership based on substantial contributions to the field of trust and estate law and by demonstrating the highest level of integrity, commitment to the profession, competence, and experience as trust and estate counselors.
Jenna G. Rubin received the 2019-2020 Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section (“RPPTL”) Rising Star Award. The Rising Star honor recognizes members of the RPPTL section of the Florida Bar who demonstrate the potential for future leadership through their active participation in section committees and projects. It may be awarded annually to a member of each of the divisions of the section who have made significant contributions to the section. Jenna currently serves as a Vice Chair of the RPPTL Trust Law Committee, the Ad Hoc Committee on Electronic Wills and the Elective Share Review Committee. She was recognized for her contributions to those Committees as well as her writing and speaking for the Section. Congratulations Jenna!
Jenna Rubin joined Brent Nelson and Rachel Sass to talk about electronic wills, differences between the Arizona and Florida electronic will statutes, how these wills work, the current limitations of electronic wills, and to prognosticate about electronic wills’ future.
On July 15, 2020, Jenna Rubin presented to the American Bar Association, Real Property Trust and Estate, Litigation and Ethics Malpractice Committee on Meditations in the COVID-19 World.
In June of 2020, the Florida Bar published the 10th Edition of Practicing Under the Florida Probate Code, which features an updated Chapter 4: Functions of Lawyers and Personal Representatives, co-authored by Jenna Rubin and Shane Kelley.
On February 19, 2020, Jenna Rubin gave a presentation at the South Palm Beach County Bar Association Probate & Guardianship Committee’s Brown Bag Lunch on Online Notarization and Electronic Wills.
Jenna G. Rubin spoke at the 2020 Collier County Estate Planning Symposium on February 7, 2020 on Mediation of Trust and Estate Disputes.
Jenna G. Rubin presented on “What About the Vacuum Cleaner? Resolving Trust and Estate Disputes,” at the Florida Bar Real Property, Probate and Trust Law (RPPTL) Section’s Probate Law Committee’s annual Probate Law seminar on November 15, 2019.

On December 4, 2015, Jenna G. Rubin, along with Jennifer Robinson, Esq. and Matthew Triggs, Esq., presented a panel discussion on Ethical Dilemmas Faced by Fiduciaries and Probate Practitioners at the Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section of the Florida Bar’s Probate Law 2015 Seminar.
Sean M. Lebowitz was a panelist at an Eat-and-Educate Event sponsored by the RPPTL Section of the Florida Bar held at St. Thomas University School of Law on October 22, 2015.
Charles (Chuck) Rubin gave a presentation on October 10, 2015 at the Florida Bar Tax Section CLE How to Be an Estate Planning Wizard. The subject was the tax and other aspects of prenuptial and postnuptial agreements. The presentation covered both federal and Florida issues. On September 16, 2015, Charles (Chuck) Rubin presented on the topic Catching Up on Tax & Estate Planning Developments at the FICA 30th Annual Accounting Show.
Charles (Chuck) Rubin had an article published in the September 2015 edition of Estate Planning (Vol. 42, Number 9), a Thompson Reuters publication, entitled “Roundup of Recent Estate Planning Developments.”
On July 31, 2015, Jenna G. Rubin spoke at the 35th Annual Real Property, Probate & Trust Law Section of the Florida Bar’s Legislative Update and Case Law Seminar. Her presentation focused on legislative updates to Florida’s statutes dealing with the assessment of attorneys’ fees and costs against a share of an estate or trust and the electronic noticing of trust accounts.
